I’m looking for bandmates to reorganize “The New Anthem Band”. I’ll be looking for union musicians who want to get back to the roots, or keep the roots fresh, who like my songs and the “cover” tunes I like from bands like The Band, Little Feat, CSNY, and other assorted country and bluegrass performers.
Looking for: upright bass, banjo, mandolin, fiddle, dobro and percussionist. A string player who is adept at more than one instrument would be a god-send! Strong harmonies are important, so musicians who like to sing are vital to the band. I like sharing the lead singing responsibilites and having a good blend of talent - that makes the shows more fun and entertaining, for everyone, especially the band. If we can’t have fun doing it, then it’s not worth doing.
We’ll be focused on playing in bluegrass concerts, county and country fairs, and corporate and private parties….love those private parties!
