Good Time @ Star Cafe
Thanks to Rick Otts for bringing the banjo and the up-right bass, and his wife Jodi, to the Friday night gig. We had a good time and made some good music.
The hit banjo tune of the evening was “Dooley” which is performed by the Darlin family when they make their debut on the Andy Griffith show - the first time they come to town. The Darlin’s are really The Dilliards, one of the best bluegrass bands ever. The episode is my favorite Mayberry RFD show and brings a smile to my face every time I see it.

I’ll be jamming with some special talented friends and singing a couple new tunes at the Star Cafe on Main St. in Goodlettsville on Friday. Stop in for the “World’s Best Fried Chicken” and some fun.
